Iz Kupreškog polja na Veliki Vitorog

Dvadeset planinara HPD-a „Bilogora“ Bjelovar i osam članova PK-a „Hrvatskog liječničkog zbora“ iz Zagreba planinarilo je sedmu godinu zaredom po planinama BiH. Ovaj put obišli smo Kupreško polje, vrh Veliki Vitorog i izvore Plive.

Sedmu godinu zaredom omiljeno odredište bilogorskih planinara, krajem lipnja, su bosanskohercegovačke planine. Od 2009. godine obišli smo Cincar, Prenj, Vranicu, Bjelašnicu, Visočicu, Kamešnicu, Šator i piramide kod Visokog. Dvadeset planinara HPD-a „Bilogora“ Bjelovar i osam članova PK-a „Hrvatskog liječničkog zbora“ iz Zagreba krenulo je 19. lipnja popodne preko Okučana do Šipova. Tamo su nas dočekali naši domaćini iz PSK-a „Vitorog“ iz Šipova i odveli na spavanje još desetak kilometara do planinarskog doma „Lunja glava“. Drugi dan bio je predviđen za glavni uspon na 1907 metara visoki Veliki Vitorog. Planina Vitorog se nalazi na samoj granici Republike Srpske i Federacije BiH na trideset kilometara od Šipova. Sam vrh Vitorog je raskrsnica općine Šipovo, Glamoč i Kupres. Rano ujutro nas je autobus prevezao pedeset kilometara od planinarskog doma preko Šipova do Kupreškog polja i sela Šemanovci. Selo Šemanovci nalazi se na 1150 metara nadmorske visine i polazna je točka za uspon na Veliki Vitorog. Cijela ekipa savladala je trosatni uspon do Malog Vitoroga koji je na 1744 metara, a za daljnjih dva sata uspona do Velikog Vitoroga odlučilo se jedanaest planinara predvođenih domaćim vodičem. Tih dva sata razlomljenim grebenom prepunom raznobojnog cvijeća i ljekovitog bilja bila je prava uživancija vidika i mirisa. Na samom vrhu Velikog Vitoroga nalaze se napušteni podzemni objekti koje je izgradila bivša JNA koji nagrđuju prostor travnatog vrha. S vrha se šire vidici prema jugu na Kupreško polje i Cincar, prema zapadu na Glamočko polje i Šator planinu, dok se u trećem nizu ističe Dinara. Idućega dana spustili smo se pješice iz planinarskog doma na izvore rijeke Plive udaljene osam kilometara od centra Šipova. Izvori rijeke Plive predstavljaju najveći izvor vode u Europi. U blizini izvora nalazi se nekoliko starih vodenica gdje se Pliva dijelom razlijeva u više brzaka i slapova. Nizvodno par kilometara je zaštićen posebni ribolovni revir za mušičarenje. Tok rijeke Plive je trideset kilometara dug, a u Jajcu se ulijeva u Vrbas veličanstvenim slapom visine 22 metra. Oko podne smo se oprostili sa našim vodičima i krenuli prema kući sa usputnim turističkim stajanjima. U dva sata obišli smo glavne atrakcije grada Jajca : Stari grad, toranj sv. Luke, Medvjed kulu i veličanstveni slap ušća Plive u Vrbas. Još smo kratko stali u svetištu svetog Ive u Podmilačju i naravno već tradicionalno u Banja Luci na ćevapima „Kod Muje“.
