Sv. Jure (1762 m), Makarska, Modro jezero…

Još jedan iznimno bogat vikend u HPD Bilogori – Biokovo, Bijele stijene (Vihoraški planinarski put), tradicionalni planinarac prve nedjelje u mjesecu..

Sv. Jure (1762) najviši je vrh Biokova, najveće (196 km2), najopasnije, neki kažu i najljepše dalmatinske planine. Osim brojnih geomorfoloških fenomena (škrape, vrtače, špilje..) tu je i preko 40 endemskih biljnih vrsta. A dolje, ispod, turistička je meka Makarska, ali i Brela, Baška voda, Tučepi..

Vodič Viktor Pajić na trodnevni je izlet na Biokovo od 28.rujna -1.listopada poveo 23 planinara. Prvi dan putovanje, uživanje u jesenskom okusu Makarske. Onda udarna subota: polazak s kontinentalne strane iz zaseoka Milići (400 m) iz smjera Zagvozda, najprije kroz šumu, uz Seveljev brig (1548 m) pa stjenovitim dijelom do vrha. A tu je prepoznatljivi TV toranj, crkvica Sv. Jure. No ovo je jedan od rijetkih (visokih) vrhova do kojeg vodi i biokovska cesta (23 km)! Njena gradnja započeta je još davne 1878. (car Franjo Josip!), pa je prošlo dosta vremena dok se nastavilo (1964.) da bi bila završena 1978. Bjelovarčanima je za uspon (oko 4,6 km) trebalo oko četiri sata. Odmor, uživanje u nevjerojatnom pogledu gdje je dolje sve kao na dlanu i silazak.

– Tu smo se podijelili, jedna, veća grupa, krenula je preko Vošca (1421 m) na drugu stranu Biokova, do Makara, oko osam kilometara, odnosno oko šest sati hoda. Manja skupina vratila se istom trasom, do Milića. Tu su nas čekala naša dva kombija s kojima su pokupili i ostatak grupe u Makaru, kaže Pajić. Ovaj izlet s vrhunskim planinarenjem u nedjelju je okončan u Brelima (bilo je i kupanja!), pa posjetom Imotskom i još jednom biseru prirode, Modrom jezeru.

No nije to sve! Dan ranije, na Biokovu su se s roditeljima našla i dva mala planinara, člana HPD Bilogore, Filip i Luka, koji su se ispeli do Sv.Jure! No oni su već „iskusni“ planinari, imaju u nogama dosta planinarskih kilometra, a i osvojenih vrhova! Neka se zna!
