(Po)trošili blagdanske kalorije!

Bjelovarčani su se od nepredvidive 2023. godine interno oprostili polovicom prosinca (17.12.), hodajući po Bilogori i domjenkom u šumskoj kući Rogović kut. No to ipak nije bilo posljednje druženje ove godine!

Grupa od 20-ak članova HPD Bilogore odazvala se pozivu iz susjedstva, iz Đurđevca, gdje su domaći planinari iz PD Borik 26. prosinca 2023. organizirali „Landranje na Štefanje”. Kako je zamišljeno, na ovom je hodanju po pješačko – rekreativnoj stazi trebalo potrošiti malo kalorija nakupljenih dan ranije, na Božić! No nije samo to. Posebno je zanimljivo i nesvakidašnje (za one koji tu nisu bili) što se hodalo po prirodnoj pješčanoj dini, ostatku nekadašnje pješčare (pustinje), Peski, (Podravski pijesci, Hrvatska Sahara, „Krvavi Peski”), sada geografsko botaničkom rezervatu Đurđevački pijesci. Proglašeno rezervatom 1963. godine ovo područje istočno od grada Đurđevca, veličine oko 20 ha, ostatak je ogromne pješčane površine, praktično pustinje, jedine u ovom dijelu Europe (uz Deliblatsku pješčaru u Banatu). Protokom vremena pijesak je prekrila osebujna vegetacija s bojnim endemskim biljnim i životinjskim vrstama.

Planinari su krenuli iz turistički atraktivnog Starog grada do šume Borik potom dalje prema rezervatu i nazad, ukupno se hodalo oko 12 km. Za to su nagrađeni čajem i kuhanim vinom!

No nisu Bjelovarčani bili samo na Đurđevačkim pijescima, jedna manja grupa otišla je do najviše točke Bilogore, Stankovog vrha (309 m), te planinarske kuće Anin vrh (303 m). Također potrošiti malo kalorija!
