Pješački pohod “K bratecu” (Bjelovar – Varaždin 2010.)

Nekolicina članova HPD Bilogora 21. kolovoza 2010. polazi na pješački pohod do Varaždina.

Pješački pohodi u našem planinarskom društvu imaju višegodišnju tradiciju. Krenuli su 2007. pohodom u Viroviticu s idejom popularizacije Bilogore i utvrđivanja prijateljstva između naših društava. Te godine prema Virovitici su hodala dva naša planinara, iduće godine trojica, a 2009. ekipa je narasla na jedanaestero. Staza nije obilježena i do Virovitice iznosi 65 km šumskog tla i makadamskog puta.

Ujesen 2009. još šestoro je odlučilo otići na kestenijadu naših prijatelja iz Koprivnice koja se održava kraj planinarske kuće „Rudi Jurić“. U tom, nešto kraćem pohodu od 45 km, na stazi je bio i uspon na Stankov vrh, najviši vrh Bilogore. Tim smo pohodom izašli izvan granica Bilogore i spojili se sa sjeveroistočnim obroncima Kalnika gdje se nalazi planinarska kuća „Rudi Jurić“. Ove godine propustili smo pješačenje u Viroviticu i odlučili spojiti Bilogoru, Kalnik i Varaždinsko-topličko gorje u jednom danu u dužini 75 km od Bjelovara do Varaždina. Drugi dan planiramo sudjelovati na 3. planinarskom špancir-pohodu koji organizira HPD „MIV“ Varaždin. Akcija je dobila naziv „K bratecu“ jer već godinama bratu obećavam da ću pješice do njega u Varaždin, a i on će nam biti domaćin koji će nam osigurati prenoćište, hranu i prijevoz ako bude „gubitaka“ na stazi. Svakako je da je ovo najzahtjevniji pješački pohod koji smo dosad pokušali proći, počevši od dužine pa i od zahtjevnosti podloge po kojoj ćemo hodati. Od 75 kilometara, koliko je dug put, trećina otpada na makadam, trećina na asfalt, a trećina podloge je zemlja, dio uz prugu ili prugom. Na osnovu iskustava pješačenja u Viroviticu procjenjujemo da se put može proći za 20 sati, s polaskom 21. kolovoza (subota) u 00.00. U Varaždin planiramo doći u vrijeme Dnevnika.
Mnogi nam govore da ovo nije planinarenje, već „ubijanje“. Nikad im to nismo ni htjeli osporiti. Ovo je samo jedna disciplina hodanja, možda planinarsko hodočašćenje, i imat će smisla dok god će biti zainteresiranih, a sve ostalo bit će uspomene.
