U Opatiji, na buri, uz Lungomare…

Rijetko kad toliko Bjelovarčana na jednom izletu, 96, i nikad tako brzo popunjena dva autobusa nakon najave, za nepuni dan! A nije se išlo niti na Alpe ni u inozemstvo, i nije se uopće planinarilo nego-hodalo! I to ne bilo gdje nego u – Opatiji!

Kvarnerska ljepoptica, biser Jadrana, eto i nakon 160 godina privlači i ljeti i zime ne samo turiste iz cijelog svijeta nego i planinare. Privukla je tako i članove HPD Bilogore, u nedjelju 6. ožujka, kamo ih je poveo je vodič Miro Knez. S jednim ciljem-prohodati poznatom šetnicom Lungomare i – uživati!

Nekad znana pod imenom i šetnica cara Franje Josipa I, od Voloskog (ispred kuće velikog znanstvenika Andrije Mohorovčića) do Lovrana, građena u etapama i dovršena 1911.,ova svjetski poznata oko 12 km duga staza vodi svoje goste tik uz more, uz parkove, vilu Angiolinu, pa Djevojku s galebom, uz povijesne zgrade i vile secesije koje čuvaju svoje priče. Danas je jedan od simbola Opatije. Uz Lungomare, naravno i obalna vegetacija tako tipična za ovo područje: hrast crnika, aromtični matar, mirisni lovor..Eto u svemu tome uživali su Bilogorci, uz buru koja je najavljivala dolazak triju marčanih bura nakon kojih, legenda ili mit, dolazi lijepo vrijeme, odnosno proljeće.

– Sunčano vrijeme, bura, savršeno čist zrak, sve to pružila nam je Opatija, kaže Miro Knez. Nisu svi hodali cijelu stazu, oko sedam sati, već je svatko našao kutak u nekom od brojnih kafića i restorana i nakon svoje hodačke ture uživao u onom u čemu ne može kod kuće-u pogledu na nepregledno plavetnilo.
